Junior Activities
Programs
While Crystal Cruises' clientele is comprised mostly of mature travelers
who prefer a refined and luxurious cruise experience, we offer a
children's playroom and babysitting services on all cruises. During
holiday cruises and selected sailings, additional children's activities
are offered under the supervision of experienced Junior Activities
Directors.
A Three-Tiered Program
• 3-7 year olds
• 8-12 year olds
• 13-17 year olds
Children under six months are not permitted on board without a signed
waiver by parent(s).
Hours of Operation
Hours of operation vary depending on the itinerary and number of
children on board. Activities usually occur between 10:00am and
12:00 Noon, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Teen

• Each playroom is equipped with tables and chairs for arts
and crafts, popular Sony Playstation game titles, a large screen
television set and board games.
• Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity also feature a teenager's
video arcade, Waves
• The Library offers more than 1,500 titles, including a selection
of children's books and children's videos for television/VCRs which
are available in all staterooms.
• The Hollywood Theatre shows recent-release films.
• Two pools and Jacuzzis.
Activities
Activities are determined by age and the number of children on board;
therefore, the detailed schedule of events is created at the beginning
of each cruise. The following is a list of activities and games
your child may experience while on board: Winners of games and tournaments are presented with special Crystal
Cruises memento prizes, and, all kids will receive special souvenirs
of the activities program on board. (Jolly Old St. Nick makes a
visit to the ships during Holiday Cruises, and every child on board
receives a special individual present.) Parents are asked to register their children in the program with
the Junior Activities Directors once on board.

Flying Fish, Sea Murals, Puppet Making, Face Painting, Beaded
Animal Key Chains, Necklace, Bracelets and Anklets, Machine Creations,
Sponge Painting, Various Painting, Coloring and Drawing Exercises,
Playdoh Fun Factory, Alaskan Scrapbook, Macaroni Art and Paper Plate
Turtle.

Ship wide scavenger hunts, Hide and Go seek, Sail Away parties,
Swimming: games and contests, Paddle Tennis, Ping Pong, Bingo, Treasure
Hunts, Dinner movie parties, Twister, Variety of Board Games, Lego
Building Blocks, Alaskan Cross Word Puzzles, Ice Cream Parties,
