Windstar Cruises' Star Legend to be Christened by Industry Legend Gloria Bohan

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – April 23, 2015 - Cruise.com, a subsidiary of Omega World Travel, Inc. announced that Windstar Cruises has chosen Gloria Bohan, CEO and Owner as the Godmother of their newest ship, Star Legend. As CEO Ms. Bohan leads one of the largest woman owned companies. Under her leadership Omega World Travel has grown to encompass Cruise.com, Travtech, Tourdeals.com, Omega Meetings and Incentives and LuxuryTravelTeam.com.

Ms. Bohan recently had the pleasure of sailing with Windstar Cruises and truly enjoyed the special sailing experience.

Gloria Bohan launched Omega World Travel as a small-town storefront travel agency and today is one of the top woman-owned businesses in the U.S. She has built a strong reputation as an industry leader with expertise that crosses all aspects of travel including corporate, government, meetings, vacations and cruises. She is devoted to mentoring other entrepreneurs through educational programs, her foundation and like-minded advocacy groups. "Cruises are my passion," says Gloria. "It was my wedding reception and honeymoon on the QE2 that ignited my interest in starting a travel agency. That was 1970. This honor brings me back full circle while moving forward with Windstar's stunning product."

Windstar will unveil Star Legend on May 25 at a Christening Ceremony in Rome, hosted by Bohan as Godmother. The pier-side inaugural event will include the ceremonial champagne bottle breaking across the yacht's bow. Bohan will also be sailing on the Star Legend maiden cruise where she will attend the Lifestyles of the Glitterati Private Event in Monaco.

A seasoned travel professional, Gloria brings over four decades of experience, expertise and knowledge to the travel industry. Since founding Omega World Travel in 1972, she has become one of the top female business owners in the United States.
