About Carnival Magic
Step aboard Carnival Magic and you will know why she got her name. The 130,000-ton, 3,690-guest Dream Class ship made her debut in 2011 and has been thrilling cruisers of all ages ever since. Several enticing features were added during her multi-million-dollar upgrade in 2016, such as a casual burger joint, a sports area, a smokehouse for barbeque favorites, a Caribbean-themed bar, plus the first at sea serving private-label beer and a challenging ropes course that provides incredible views.
Big and beautiful, Carnival Magic is a floating resort, with a half-mile outdoor promenade deck that includes an indoor/outdoor entertainment area that stretches from one side of the ship to the other. Here you may melt your cares away in supersized hot tubs that are cantilevered out over the edge of the ship. Daily light shows can be enjoyed on a gigantic outdoor movie screen at the theater, as well as films and concerts. Lots of fun youth activities designed for specific age groups offer kids a magical time that will make them feel that they are at summer camp at sea — but even better. Tweens and teens are sure to enjoy video games, dancing and more. Imagine while they are having such a great time, you can experience blissful relaxation at the peaceful area that is just for adults or indulge in some of the many rejuvenating treatments, such as a message, at the two-deck spa.
Fun-lovers of every age are sure to find it at the top-deck aqua park with two hair-raising waterslides — a bowl slide and a spiral, plus a gigantic tipping bucket that will drench you to shrieks of delight. More thrills await adventure-seekers at the first ropes course at sea, with hundreds of feet of rope bridges, steps that swing and beams suspended high above the top deck. A huge recreation features a two-level mini-golf course.
Seemingly endless eateries range from casual family-style dining to intimate dinners. Options include a pair of two-deck-high main restaurants, an elegant steakhouse, an expansive two-level indoor/outdoor buffet serving everything imaginable to savor. Also featured onboard are venues for sushi, Asian cuisine, hot dogs, tacos and burritos. Bite into a complimentary fresh hand-tossed pizza whenever you have the craving as they are offered 24/7. Sweeten things up with a treat at a candy store.
Stay in a variety of comfy and roomy accommodations, including those designed for families for up to five people. Options also include deluxe ocean-view staterooms with twin beds that convert to king size and sofas that open turn into beds, making them an ideal choice for families and immense Ocean Suites with huge balconies. Features include an interactive TV, a mini-fridge, a safe and more.
Broadway-style entertainment at the three-story theater and movies under the stars at the giant poolside screen are just part of the exciting onboard offerings. Enjoy high-tech entertainment on an immense LED screen at the interactive theater. The Barbecue Hall of Famer is bringin’ some big time meats like Championship Pork Butt, Smoked Round of Beef, Smoked Andouille Sausage and his famous Blue Ribbon Chicken as well as rockin’ sides like Mac Daddy Mac n Cheese, Old Skool Potato Salad and Collard Greens. Throw in his signature line of barbecue sauces and you’ve got a rockin’ sea day on deck.

Hand-tossed dough, made from imported Italian flour, plus fresh mozzarella form a solid base, and a choice of toppings put the finishing touches on this piping hot, fresh-from-the-oven mealtime — or anytime — classic. BlueIguana Tequila Bar is the onboard spot to chill and enjoy a slushy tequila drink or an ice-cold Mexican cerveza. The menu offers up Mexican favorites, including several brands of tequila and a slew of Mexican brews. There’s a lineup of frozen concoctions, cocktails and margaritas served by the glass or by the pitcher, and even a special Mexican beer cocktail (yes, really). Where can you find this little slice of Mexican paradise? Next to the pool, of course. So stay cool and take in the bar’s vacation vibe while you kick back on your cruise – that’s what official bar mascot Blue the Iguana would tell you.

Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise. After all, if you’re going to jog, you’d be hard-pressed to find a place to do it with a more scenic view, or a more refreshing breeze — both of these are available in abundance when you go for an open-air jog on the upper-deck. Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort.

An awesome ropes course, however, will let you do all that with a cool sea breeze and a view to match! Not sure that navigating a high-up-there challenge is for you? Did we mention that on SkyCourse you'll be safely strapped in, emboldening you to take on the kinds of challenges you may not normally feel up to? Here everyone — even kids — become thrill-seekers, testing their ability to make their way around the course. The course features two levels of challenge, and you can increase or decrease the toughness as you go. So take to the sky... SkyCourse that is.

Get your sea-water fix and soak completely in it, easily absorbing all the relaxing, rejuvenating benefits of the trace elements and vitamins you’ll find in nature. Oh, and here’s one thing you’ll only find in our special pool: water jets that massage and invigorate. Mother Nature’s great, but she can’t do that.
