About Celebrity Edge
Revolutionary and beautiful are just some of the words used to describe the 117,000-ton, 2,900-guest Celebrity Edge. Making its debut in 2018, she is the first of Celebrity Cruises' jaw-dropping Edge Class, boasting revolutionary features, ranging from a vertically moving outside deck, to exquisite two-story suites with their own private plunge pools. She was designed with lots of open areas, glass walls and windows providing an open feel, so you will feel a greater connection to the sea and destinations at every turn.
Indulge your senses with a host of fabulous amenities and activities designed to thrill everyone in the family. The pool deck is resort-like with plenty of places to relax, dine and more. Relax at the huge pool that is flanked by unique sculptures of trees and Jacuzzis designed like martini glasses that overlook the deck below. Resort-style areas include a solarium and several for-rent cabanas and loungers facing the sea. Celebrity Edge also features an elaborate sauna, fitness center, complete with a variety of state-of-the-art equipment, plus a sauna, whirlpool, steam room and thermal suites.
Retreat to a lively and spacious rooftop garden that provides a serene place during the day for yoga, games and various activities amongst the live greenery and faux tree sculptures which also serve as seats for various musical performers. At night, it becomes the perfect venue to enjoy movies while dining, as well as live music. Another area is reserved just for suite guests and provides a relaxing quiet area with its own sundeck, private pool, restaurant and lounge. There are plenty of youth activities for the kids as well.
Exceptional dining choices are offered on Celebrity Edge. Enjoy al fresco meals at the grill on the pool deck and a raw bar, just some one of the many alternative restaurants. Savor gourmet fare during the day and enjoy barbeque options when it is transformed into a swanky venue at night. Suite guests enjoy an exclusive dining experience in the "Suite Class" restaurant nestled in a private section of the main dining room. Specially designed menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered and each item will only be featured once during a two-week cruise. Savor handcrafted cuisine that is locally sourced with regional and season ingredients. Tableside preparation of signature dishes, gourmet chocolates, a dessert cart, as well as wine pairings made by a dedicated head sommelier is sure to appeal to discerning foodies.
Celebrity Edge has several new stateroom categories, including Celebrity's first accommodations for solo travelers. A stateroom with a veranda allows you to completely open doors at the touch of a button, adding more space as well as an expansive view of the outdoors. Retire to ultra-comfortable king-sized beds with plush cashmere bedding, while those in solo cabins have queen beds. A convenient high-tech feature lets you open your door using an app on your phone. Luxurious accommodations are also offered in a private enclave, a first for Celebrity. Beautiful and immense, two amazing suites located above the bridge are more than 5,000-square-feet and offer the same incredible view as the captain, plus a private pool and direct access to the sundeck.
The rooftop garden area offers music at night, as well as a dining and movie combo. Head to the many bars, lounges and casino.
