A Journey to The Home of Golf to celebrate the life and work of Old Tom Morris accompanied by our Golf Specialist from St Andrews. This short escorted luxury golf tour has been created for those guests with a love for golf and an interest in the history behind the World’s first Golf Professional and course designer Thomas Mitchell Morris (Old Tom Morris) the first Keeper of the Greens at St Andrews.

Play Tom Morris designed courses with caddies provided including either the world’s oldest New Course at St Andrews (1895) or The Challenging Jubilee Course (1897)and the venue of the recent 2018 British Open – Carnoustie. Get a real feel for the history of the game with an exclusive and entertaining walk and talk hosted by popular Golf Historian- Paul Miller. Visit the World’s oldest golf club factory and enjoy the game as it was originally meant to be played at Kingarrock – The World’s last remaining original hickory golf course where you will play with 100+ year old original hickory shafted golf clubs provided and period gutty percha golf balls. Transfer to St Andrews Links Golf Clubhouse to play 18 holes at the New Course or Jubilee Course with professional caddies. St. Andrews is known as the Home of Golf with its history dating back to 1552. Your 18 holes will be played on either the New Course or the Jubilee Course. The New Course is the oldest ‘new’ course in the world, the second course at the Home of Golf was built by the Keeper of the Green Tom Morris in 1895 and it was imaginatively named to differentiate from its famous neighbor (The Old). Alternatively the Jubilee Course (1897) is a stunning championship challenge closest to the sea and generally accepted as the toughest of all the St. Andrews Links.

After the morning tour you will be transferred to Kingarrock Hickory Golf for lunch before playing 18 holes. Kingarrock dates back to 1906 and is famous for its use of hickory golf clubs. Together with expert guidance fully versed in the ways of Edwardian golf, you'll have everything you need to pick your shot with perfect poise.

  • All rates listed are per person based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. Your land package pricing will be confirmed and guaranteed once your deposit is received and applied to the booking, except where price increases may result from increases in government taxes or fees. Room configurations are subject to availability. Guests added to your party after the booking are priced at the prevailing rate at the time they are added.

Guests without proper documentation may be denied entry and will not be entitled to a refund.
  • 60 days or more before departure: $600.00 per person
  • 59-8 days before departure: $900.00 per person
  • 7-1 days before departure: $1500.00 per person
  • On departure day and later: 100% of total price
  • Any changes or cancellations to airline reservations made with this agency either before or after departure are subject to the cancellation / change policies of the individual airlines. In some instances these cancellation / change fees may be up to 100% of the ticket price.
  • Cancellation fees may also apply to any additional services, including extra night accommodations, independently supplied services, and optional excursions reserved prior to, during, and after the tour. If flight changes, including, but not limited to, flight cancellations or name changes, are requested after full land and air deposits are received, revision fees, change fees, or airline cancellation fees will apply.
  • All cancellations must be received in writing prior to tour departure. The cancellation policy will apply according to the date that the cancellation notification is received. The MINIMUM cancellation penalty is the deposit amount.
  • The purchase of trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
  • Land only “from price” is per person based on two people sharing a room together and does not include airfare unless expressly stated.
  • Schedules of deposit and final payment may vary by program.
  • All prices are in US Dollars.
  • Air Travel- Please note that airline tickets issued for travel on scheduled airlines will carry additional Terms and Conditions including, but not limited to payment, change and cancellation policies as specified by the carrier.
  • A $600 non-refundable, non-transferable, per-person, per-vacation deposit is required to reserve space for you. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and accepted all Terms & Conditions. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit payment is processed and you receive a confirmation invoice.
  • An administrative fee of $50 per change per person will be charged for changes requested after deposit has been received and confirmation issued. If you elect to change the name of a previously confirmed golfer you will be additionally liable for any loss of non-refundable deposit or change fee levied by the golf club/provider. In some cases it may not be possible to make changes less than 90 days before travel date.
  • Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Within the final payment date, payment in full is required at time of booking to reserve space. Reservations (land, cruise, and air) are canceled if final payment is not received by the due date.
  • Additional deposits or payments are normally required for any scheduled air booked on your behalf and added to the start and/or end of your vacation.
  • Car Rental-On any tours where car rental is offered all drivers must be over the age of 25 and in some destinations under the age of 74.
  • All golf course tee times are made subject to availability at time of booking and cannot be guaranteed.
  • The golf provider/course operator reserves the right to amend any or all golf bookings and tee times secured in advance at any time for reasons including, but not limited to: weather conditions, course playability conditions etc. In these rare cases where amendments are required they/we will always endeavor to provide an acceptable alternative of at least equal or greater value. If we are advised by them that an alternative cannot be offered a full refund will be provided. The purchase of trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
  • Where transport to/from any golf course itinerary destination is by ship Dream Golf Vacations guests are bound by the conditions of carriage provided by the relevant cruise line. As such we cannot be held responsible for loss of any tee time, green fees and/or any related costs should the relevant cruise line decide for reasons including but not limited to weather, passenger safety or otherwise that they are unable to reach shore at the scheduled time. Furthermore Dream Golf Vacations cannot accept any liability should the cruise line amend or cancel any part of a scheduled itinerary. The purchase of Travel insurance/Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
  • Golf Handicaps- We recommend that you travel with a golf handicap/index card. While the majority of golf clubs do not require this we cannot accept responsibility if you do not wish to do so and you are subsequently denied play. We are happy to discuss requirements at time of booking and provide advice.
  • Caddies (unless already provided in tour package) can be requested by us on your behalf in advance if required. We can advise caddie charge and gratuity policy. Each golf club will endeavor to fulfill all requests. However, these cannot be guaranteed as caddies are self-employed and at peak times demand can outweigh availability.
  • Accommodation arrangements and in cases where tours and transfers are provided independently by third party providers such arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these providers. As such any contracts undertaken are made between you (the customer) and the third party provider. All such arrangements are made independently of Dream Golf Vacations, irrespective of any help and assistance which the Company may provide in securing such arrangements.
  • Brochure, webpages and promotional items- At the time of publication all information provided to us by any third party is accurate. We cannot accept responsibility for any omission and/or errors. Where any error or omission which could affect your travel package becomes apparent we will make all reasonable steps to inform you in a timely manner.
  • Dream Golf Vacations, as the tour operator, and its selling agents act only as agents in securing and booking the hotel accommodations and other land tour services provided by independent contractors. Dream Golf Vacations, its selling agents or the specified air carriers assume and accept no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident. delay, changes or inconvenience caused by: any force majeure - health risks - reason of war or threat of war – riots - civil strife - terrorist activity - industrial disputes – acts, omission, neglect, delay or default of any person engaged in providing any tour services including transportation and accommodation - technical problems to transport - closure or congestion of airports or ports - building work - extended hotel closure - cancellations or changes of schedules by airlines - interruption or failure of public utilities outside the control of the hotel and similar events beyond our control, including storms, tempests and hurricanes.
  • If any tour service or its reasonable equivalent is not provided due to events beyond the reasonable control of Dream Golf Vacations, the company will make an appropriate refund of that portion of the tour price covering the undelivered tour service, but it is understood that Dream Golf Vacations shall have no other or further responsibility or liability either for the accuracy of any representation or the non-provision of any tour services.
  • Transport by aircraft, rail, ship or coach will depend on the conditions of carriage of the relevant carrier. These conditions of carriage may limit or exclude the carrier’s liability to you under international law (such as the Warsaw Convention). The responsibility and liability of the specified air carriers with respect to their performance of air transportation services are limited by and subject to the conditions of contract in the passenger ticket, the rules contained in tariffs on file with U.S. Department of Transportation (available for inspection on request), and applicable provisions of law and treaty.
  • Dream Golf Vacations is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident or illness on any vehicle or at any place throughout the tour.
  • Dream Golf Vacations reserves the right to cancel a tour if circumstances so require. In this event we will make full refund to travelers of all payments received for said tour. Such a refund of payments will be the full extent of Dream Golf Vacation's obligation and liability to travelers.
